How does the PayPal/Bank Account setup work?
As part of approval, described in the NERD Event Organizer Agreement, NERD will create and manage a bank account for your camp. Individual account access is not a feature yet, but is being considered. Statement can be sent whenever requested. The balance in the account will be considered when NERD is requested to enter into a contractual agreement, or to become liable to new products or services, for your camp.
A PayPal account will also be created and managed as a Nonprofit account. Your camp will have access to this account and can connect it to your event ticketing system of choice. The PayPal account can also be used by your camp to invoice sponsors, being configure as NERD dba [Your Camp Name]. The PayPal account will be connected to a @nerd.ngo email address for your camp, which you will have access to.
